What are digital dollars?
They are dollars in digital form (called USDC): each one is worth one dollar. You keep them in your wallet and send them instantly, at any time.
Do I have to install anything?
No. Everything happens in your usual WhatsApp. You will only open a link to confirm with your fingerprint or your face when you create your wallet or send money.
How much does it cost?
Creating your wallet is free and sending money has no fee.
How do I send money to someone?
Write, for example, «enviar 10 a +591 7123 4567». You get a summary with a link, you confirm it with your fingerprint and that's it. If that person doesn't use Optipagos yet, they only need to write «hola» to us.
Do I get a receipt?
Yes. Every time you send or receive money you get the receipt on WhatsApp, with an image to share and a link to view it whenever you like.
What if someone gets hold of my phone?
Without your fingerprint or your face nothing can be sent. Messages alone don't move money: every transfer needs you to confirm it.
Can I take my money somewhere else?
Yes. Your wallet is yours: write «exportar clave» and take it to another app whenever you like. Keep that key somewhere safe and don't share it.
